About The Author:
Angela Meek and two dedicated volunteers saw a need for animal welfare in the Poteau, Oklahoma community in 2014 and started 3 Girls Animal Rescue, pulling animals out of local kill shelters. From January 2019 to August 2020 they saved 2,700 dogs and cats.
They also helped a number of kill shelters in their area become "no-kill shelters" by helping save companion animals and getting them adopted into loving homes. They were greatly aided by Angela's wonderful Staffordshire Terrier named Bart...best dog ever!
